  1. Smoov J- Real smoov!

I dinna throw up once in my mouth! Well ‘cept for that “Spherical Domi” part. And that was more of a groan than anything. But a loving, amused groin mind you. I just typed groin instead of groan. And Im not going to go back to fix it.

Nice job getting Mike Nelson. Dunno how you did it.

  2. Wait, on second listen, yes second listen, did you just bust out a Higglytown Heroes reference?

    Seriously. Thats fucked up.

    And thats why I listen.

  3. This was a great episoide…..except for all the parts with Jack Mangan. Who does that guy think he is? 😉

    Mike Nelson:
Awesome first interview. I hope he recorded a bumper or two for you.

    The Doodle:
    “What did he have?
    The special.
    Check please!!”

I think I have an idea for a bumper that i may throw together tonight.

  4. Spherical Dome…Thanks, Jack. Bits of half-chewed apple now adorn my monitor. Not to mention that the keyboard is all sticky, and my boss is giving me the stern glance.

    You ARE your evil twin!

  5. Thanks everyone!
Alvie – I’m glad you picked up on the Higglytown reference.
    Jason – thanks. Sort of.
    Oyuban – domo arigato!
Karen – you really nailed that Love Prowess guest appearance. Thanks! Sorry about the sticky keyboard………………………………. (see! everyone expected it, but I didn’t go there)

  6. I also have a bumper idea that I’ll put together. Should be a hoot.

Another awesome show, Jack. Interesting to see the inflection in your voice that only seems to appear during interviews… well, and after drinking heavily on Wingin’ It!

  7. Killer stuff, dude. The Spherical Domi made me spew spherical chunks from laughing. Very good stuff. Then there’s that smooth-as-eggs song at the end. Dude, you’re killin’ me here. Great stuff. You’re battin’ two fer two here. Daddy like.

  8. Jack- great interview with Mike. Regarding his comment on no MST3K reunion: some years back, he did an interview for a local radio station. At one point he lamented the legal hoops they had to jump through: “You wouldn’t think you’d have to go through twelve lawyers to get the rights to ‘Attack Of The Mushroom People’, but you do.”

Plus, judging by the various quotes you’ve dropped, I’m guessing that Alex Lifeson is a major influence on your excellent guitar skills.
