This time around, we’ll have two different divisions. The first: characters who’ve appeared in the materials from past DeadpanPalooza studies (Zardoz, Repo Man, Southland Tales, Gross Pointe Blank, Watchmen [graphic novel], Flash Gordon). The second: animated characters.
Voting closes at 3pm MST, November 4, 2009.
Choose from the characters listed or suggest your own.

Palooza Division:
The Comedian (Watchmen)
Animated Division:
Bumblebee (Transformers)
Animaniacs
Wonder Twins (Superfriends)
While I’m all for some Bill the Cat, was he ever actually animated? I didn’t think he ever made it off the comic page.
I think there was an animated Bloom County. . . .?
More write-in suggestions:
Palooza:
Vultan (Flash Gordon)
Dan Aykroyd’s character (Grosse Pointe Blank)
Animated:
Homer Simpson
The Babe from “Ion Flux” (Aeon Flux?)
Bill T. Cat was inthe tv version of:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Wish_for_Wings_That_Work
…not that I wrote Bill in, but whoever did is bloody brilliant…
Gloop (The Herculoids)
No He-Man? You need He-Man. I voted He-Man as a write in.
It’s true. *Someone* did write-in He-Man (Masters of the Universe) for the Animated division.
Trinity (she was animated in one of the Animatrix sequences, I think?)
Ripley from Aliens was also suggested, but I don’t think she’s ever been featured in a cartoon, and none of the Alien movies has ever been Palooza-bait.
Lion-o from Thundercats.
