  12. I (dig) dug this episode. Man, TD0013 killed. I swear when he keeps repeating “All work and no play…” it sounds like he is rocking in his seat getting closer and farther away from the mic.

    • Thanks, Tony and Lo.

      The “over. . . acting. . . so. . . freaked out”, “Oh crap. I think I just turned blue!”, and “I think. . . I might be lost” lines were delivered masterfully. All three of those are among my favorite recorded Deadpan moments ever.

      • So, now that we’ve had a “best of” episode is the next step the clip show? I would be so down for that. In a freak “full contact chess” game, Jack comes down with amnesia and the Deadpan crew has to try to get his memory back by strolling down memory lane… hilarity ensues.

  82. Boarding pass is printed and in my satchel. Had a bit of a panic as I didn’t check in for 3 hours into the 24 hour window. Somehow still managed to score an A group boarding pass for Southwest.

    So, you guys have got less than 24 hours to finish hiding the good silverware!

  94. Well that is weird, USB charger (with US plug) won’t charge my iPhone or iPad, but will charge my external battery pack for the iPhone.

    • Van, if you see this before coming over, bring your adapter cable. We can see if it works on my ac plug. If so, you can leave your device plugged in in my room to charge while we have breakfast

  96. I have decided my room needs another window. The sun is beautiful bot only goes into the bedroom. I actually have to turn on a light if I want to sit in the living room. (Yeah, yeah I know, first world problem)

    • On the plus side, sticking my watch on the window sill this morning got it fully charged for the first time in months (solar powered).

      Martin must have no soul left. For all the confidence he seems to have that he will live long enough to finish the series whenever he damn well pleases – that must have been an expensive deal with the devil.

      • I believe that in that book, he’ll still be introducing 32 new characters, 68 new story threads, and five new locations.

  126. Well, friends, for me the mmmeetup has again come to an end. I am safely delivered to the airport awaiting my flight home.

    Once again, it has been a weekend of which memories were made that shall grow into legends as time moves on. Once again you guys managed to give me another near death experience by laughter.

    Already looking forward forward to next year.

      JR: There was much fun and many good times to be had at this year’s MMMMMeetup. Yes, that was the reason why there weren’t many posts this weekend – we were all having too much fun. :happy: No concert or live Deadpan segments this year, due to Jack losing his voice, but we still had a fantastic time.

      I’m posting this from the Southwest terminal at PHX. My flight is also leaving about 30 minutes late 🙁 Oh, well, at least I have a nice terminal with good food and Wi-Fi to wait in.
